Dio nostro Padre vi ha scelti, perché così aveva stabilito: per mezzo dello Spirito Santo vi ha santificati, perché siate ubbidienti a Gesù Cristo e siate liberati dai vostri peccati grazie alla sua morte. Dio doni a voi grazia e pace in abbondanza. Benedetto sia Dio, il Padre del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo! Egli ha avuto tanta misericordia per noi, che ci ha fatti rinascere: risuscitando Gesù Cristo dai morti, egli ci ha dato una vita nuova. Così ora abbiamo una speranza viva, perché siamo in attesa di ottenere quell’eredità che Dio ha preparato nei cieli. Un’eredità sicura, che non va in rovina e non marcisce. Essa è preparata anche per voi. (1 Pietro 1:2-4)
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
